Bali Hotel Review - Kuta Lagoon Resort

Within 15 minutes drive from Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport we reached Kuta Lagoon Resort located at Legian street, in the tourist district of Kuta, in Bali.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Being strategically located near the Bali Ngurah Rai airport the Kuta Lagoon Resort is an ideal bali hotel to unwind ourselves after a long flight. This bali hotel is an affordable hotel with a nice tropical pool view and has a relaxing and homely atmosphere. The pool is about 90 metres long stretching the entire length of the bali hotel.

Once we reached, we were more than happy to check in and threw our luggage! Couldn't wait to dash to the Kuta beach. We hired a local tour guide to guide us, as we did not want to waste unnecessary expenses going to the wrong places in Bali.

Kuta Beach
Hours later, we were at the beach. Here, people dash into the surf, stake out lounge chairs sun bathing along the beach, and swimming between flags for safety. Kuta Beach is an ideal playground for surfers. The waves are good, and soft sandy bottom under water make it a great surfing spot for beginners.

Some Indonesian Cuisine in Kuta, Bali...

This is my very first Gado-gado dish... yummy but not that spicy. Some traditional Indonesian salad with a varieties of vegies in spicy peanut sauce.

For the main dish i opted for seafood of course, buttered squid with fries.

Of all the thousands of temples in the island they have one thing in common. "Split Gates".

These gates are split into two as a sign of welcome.


Barong Dance

This is one of the balinese dance about battle between the good spirit (Barong) and the evil spirit (Rangda).
Towards the end of the story, its all about balance. Neither the good nor evil wins...all of them died.
